Peanut Butter Cups Cupcakes

Peanut butter cupcakes filled with a milk chocolate covered peanut butter cup.
Ingredients -
 

1-3/4 cups Flour
1-1/4 cups firmly packed Brown Sugar
3 teaspoons Baking Powder
1 teaspoon Salt
1 cup Whole Milk
1/3 cup Shortening
1/3 cup Peanut Butter
1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
2 Large Eggs
24 Miniature Milk-Chocolate Covered Peanut Butter Cup Candies, unwrapped

 
Preparation:
 

1. Preheat oven to 350 F.

2. Line muffin tin with 24 cupcake paper liners.

3. Add flour, brown sugar, baking powder, salt, whole milk, shortening, peanut butter, vanilla extract and eggs to large mixing bowl.

4. Mix 2 minutes at medium speed.

5. Fill cupcake liners 2/3 full.

6. Press peanut butter cup candy into the batter until even with batter top.

7. Bake 20 minutes, or until the cupcake tops are springy when touched.
