Mini Oreo Surprise Cupcakes

Chocolate, cream cheese, and miniature oreo cookie layered cupcakes topped with whipped topping and miniature cookies.
Ingredients -
 

1 (2 layer size) package Chocolate Cake Mix
1 (8 ounces) package Cream Cheese, softened
1 Egg
2 tablespoons Sugar
48 Mini Oreo Bite Size Chocolate Sandwich Cookies
1-1/2 cups thawed Whip Topping

 
Preparation:
 

1. Preheat oven to 350 F.

2. Prepare chocolate cake mix according to package directions.

3. Add cream cheese, egg, and sugar to medium bowl. Stir to combine.

4. Fill cupcake liners half full. Reserve remaining batter.

5. Top cupcake batter with ½-tablespoon cream cheese mixture and 1 mini Oreo bite size chocolate sandwich cookie.

6. Cover each Oreo evenly with remaining cake batter.

7. Bake 20 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

8. Remove from oven and cool 5 minutes.

9. Remove cupcakes to wire rack.

10. Top cupcakes with whipped topping and remaining cookies just before serving.
